Mum's Recipe: Yummy Sweet & Chili Crabs

INGREDIENTS

     6 pieces Crabs, cut in half 
     2 pieces long chili peppers (siling haba), sliced diagonally
     1/3 butter
     1/4 cup cooking oil
     1/2 cup brown sugar
     1 small ginger, minced
     1/2 head of garlic, minced
     1 cup sweet & chili sauce
     salt & black pepper




DIRECTIONS

1. Steam crabs and cut them in half. Set aside.



2. In a pan, put the cooking oil and butter. Saute the garlic and ginger until golden brown.

    


3. Put the chili peppers, salt, black pepper and brown sugar.



4. Add in the crabs and stir-fry. 


5. Put the sweet & chili sauce. Cover and cook for 10-15mins or until the sauce is thick.



6. Put the cooked crabs on a serving plate. Serve with rice.



Cooking time: 20-25mins
